Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use valaros.shop and buy from Valaros. Please read them together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

About us

Valaros is a trading name of Mark Harvey Stephen Davis, a sole trader. Valaros is an online retailer of hand-carved wooden décor, based at 128 Hoxton Street, London N1 6SH, United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@valaros.shop or +44 20 4652 8827.

Orders

  • You must be 18 or over to place an order.
  • After you order, we send an email confirming that we have received it. A contract is formed when we dispatch your order.
  • If we cannot accept or fulfil your order, for example because an item is unavailable, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

Products and prices

  • Each piece is carved and finished by hand, so the item you receive may vary slightly in grain, colour and detail from the photos. Sizes are approximate. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. UK delivery is free.
  • If we discover a clear pricing error before we dispatch your order, we will contact you and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Payment

Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout. Payment details are encrypted, and we do not store full card details.

Cancellations and returns

You can cancel your order up to 14 days after you receive it, and you can return items within 30 days of delivery. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Use of the website

You must not use this website for any unlawful purpose. Our website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you can get free advice from Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133.
